Phoebe Sena’s debut album, Pure Obsessions, is a deep dive into the abyss of the obsessive mind. While initially confronting, the listener is transported into a soothing soundscape where intrusive thoughts are met with compassion and acceptance acts as a compass through life’s inevitable uncertainties. This carefully crafted collection of songs, encapsulates the experience of confronting darkness, healing and regaining a sense of self-trust. Phoebe’s introspection is equal parts cathartic as it is brave.
February 2025 will see the release of Phoebe’s 12-track concept album, marking a significant milestone in her career. Crafted over an 18-month period and designed to be heard as a full body of work, Pure Obsessions, is a reflective and profound narrative through sound. The genre-bending project explores textures and tones from the worlds of Alternative RNB, Trance and Lo-Fi House.
Pure Obsessions is accompanied by 12 original visual artworks by the artist, herself. Phoebe has created an all-encompassing visual and sonic experience for her audience.

Born and raised in Australia, with strong Cypriot heritage, Phoebe Sena’s musical DNA was formatively cultivated in a household that fostered a love of Greek music and only the finest jazz and blues. After graduating from the Australian Institute of Music with foundations in jazz, Phoebe immersed herself in the world of composition and production.
Independent of any label affiliation, Phoebe’s music is entirely self-produced, composed and arranged. She is somewhat of an enigma, preferring to create her art in the underground. Her music is a sonic tapestry of lush textures with an ethereal, dream-like quality. Phoebe’s approach to production is minimal, intentional and free of flashy trends. The focus is clear; thoughtful songwriting. Greek melodies and lyrics merge seamlessly with ambient RNB / House beats and Lo-Fi atmospherics. Phoebe’s vocal style is soulful, poignant and unafraid to explore the depths of emotion. The foundation of her artistry is heavily inspired by the greats, with Sade and Billie Holiday among the most notable. Phoebe’s minimalist approach to songwriting is a testament to the power of space and simplicity, where vocal nuance takes centre stage.
Phoebe’s visual art combines mediums to further expand on her music. With foundations in technical drawing, her work is a unique blend of ink, pencil, charcoal, digital art and graphic design. Phoebe fuzes modern-abstract and traditional realism techniques to create striking and confronting works of art.
